I'm an Auckland-born, Seattle-raised arts writer, researcher, administrator and copywriter. I worked for six years as a writer, workshop facilitator and tutor in Auckland, with the odd jaunt overseas (that's me at left with my favourite Anish Kapoor at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy, where I worked as an intern coordinator). I’m currently returning to New Zealand after nearly four years in Scotland.
I hold a Master's degree in art history with first-class honours from the University of Auckland, where my work focused primarily on the aesthetics of memorial and post-trauma art. I write for peer-reviewed journals in print and online, and also work in collaboration with artists.
